How do you secure the transmission of information from my browser to your server?

Secure web pages can also be identified by their URL: they begin with ‘https://’, while standard pages begin with ‘http://’. This is far more secure than giving you credit card over the phone where someone could be listening, or to a cashier where someone can either look over your shoulder or get hold of your credit card receipt.
